Heidi Langridge's work is defined by a dramatic, expressive style, with birds taking centre stage against glowing, bold backgrounds. Using colour and form rather than detailed settings, she creates a sense of energy and light—drawing on the idea that birds experience the world in a more vivid spectrum than we do.

These paintings speak to the joy of living in the moment and the importance of connection, friendship, and kinship. After nearly two decades running her own gallery in Brighton, she now lives on the South Downs and works from her home studio.
